Buyer I

Procures production and MRO materials necessary for the operation of the business

Analyzes, maintains, and executes Materials Requirement Plan (MRP).

Continuously monitors and verifies materials pipeline to ensure it meets the MRP requirements. Identify and appropriately address materials supply issues.

Ensures materials availability to support production per the Master Production Schedule through MRP execution, on-time delivery, and coordination of materials movement through receiving to production.

Tracks and provides supporting data to BUM in order to clearly define customer liable materials.

Executes and maximizes Jabil negotiated terms with suppliers to reduce materials liability.

Issues Purchase Orders to pricing, terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed to by Jabil Commodity Managers and Buyers.

Ensures suppliers’ adherence to established agreements.

Optimizes order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers.

Maintains integrity of master data and purchasing planning parameters in order to minimize material liability and to balance the cost of procurement with inventory investment levels.

Monitors and continuously improves supplier’s delivery and quality performance. Address and resolve recurring or critical issues by utilizing corrective action tools and additional resources.

Provides inputs to drive and execute Jabil’s commodity and pricing strategy. Works closely with Buyers, Commodity Managers, & SCM. Provide feedback on supplier performance and Jabil’s strategies.

Minimizes materials freight expenses for Jabil.

Monitors, tracks, and provides feedback on suppliers’ performance on delivery, quality, and service.

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Two years experience

Certification by related professional organizations (such as APICS and NAPM) is preferred


/Analyst I

Develops, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, modifies and installs programs.

Maintains & supports existing business system applications.

Develops solutions or portion of solutions designed by senior programmers.

Executes unit level test plans.

Maintains & develops documentation for responsible areas.

Degree in Computer Science or computer related discipline or 1 to 2 years basic experience.

Must be knowledgeable in at least 1 of the following program languages.

DFX Engineer

Business Development

Wuxi, Jiangsu

Using established procedures is responsible to create check reports of new printed circuit boards or redesign of existing printed circuit boards to improve manufacturability of design.

Work with manager and/or technical project manager to provide information that will aid in the initial quoting process.

Provide Document Control with a complete design package consisting of data and documentation prior to production launch.

Work concurrently with other Design Services departments, Business Unit Management, Manufacturing, Test, Purchasing, and Quality departments through the design phase of a program. Work to provide a design that not only meets the customer’s criteria, but is also of high quality, cost effective, and manufacturable.

Support production discrepancies by incorporating fixes into subsequent revisions in a timely manner.

Record all ideas, sketches, and pertinent conversations in approved Design Log or Lab Notebook.

Use SPC data collected in production in subsequent programs to ensure continuing improvement in designs.

Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to make sure designs that are producible, testable and cost effective.


College diploma required

Plus 3 years related experience and/or training.

Manufacture Engineering or Test Engineering experience is a plus.

Proficient using Valor, and/or RSI software packages.

Process Engineer III

Develops and implements production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner for new and existing assembly/molding processes. Monitors the assembly/molding process; troubleshooting problem processes and assisting in resolving quality issues. Provides technical expertise on various projects/production jobs and processes as required.

Implement the startup of new/existing projects/production jobs, optimizing cost, efficiency and quality;

Establish and ensure process control and maintains appropriate documentation;

Monitor the assembly/molding process running in production; troubleshoot problems associated with processes, and assist in resolving quality issues;

Establish processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; evaluate new product performance; and monitor new tool design;

Debug moderately complex problems within a portion of new systems, tooling and automation;

Implement experiments to enhance processes as well as improve yields and utilization through reduced cycle and efficient set-up;

Implement maintenance changes in process improvements; propose or specify repair alteration of automation while ensuring adequate documentation is maintained;

Maintain a clean and safe work environment; supporting all company safety programs and initiatives;

May provide direction to assembly and material handling employees as necessary;

Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives;

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Sr Mechanical Engineer PD

The Sr Mechanical Engineer PD is responsible for participating in and leading product development teams. In this role, the candidate will bring to bear world class engineering knowledge, creativity, product development experience, planning, and communication skills to deliver winning solutions for clients.

Lead engineering efforts on product development teams and be responsible for the quality and content of engineering deliverables ;

Have deep skills in the essential engineering tools used in product development (sketching, CAD, prototyping, FEA, DFM/A, FMEA, etc) ;

Conceptualize ways of providing value to our customers ;

Quality Systems Manager(BU)

Lead by example a group of technical people that form the Quality Assurance, Product Validation and Failure Analysis groups within Jabil’s product development group “JDS”. This person will also be successful in leading people who report to others. Identify, correct and escalate issues that may increase product level RISK to Jabil. This includes product Safety, Product Quality and Reliability, and Customer Satisfaction

Manage the Quality Assurance, Product Verification and Validation, Product Quality Engineers, Failure Analysis, and Initial Supplier Quality Assurance people and functions in your assigned site(s)

Identify, minimize and or escalate product level risk and liability throughout design, manufacturing and use in the field

Recruit, train, and manage and lead QA personnel

Project Manager II will lead and support assigned projects, programs and initiatives of medium to high complexity applying project management expertise to support the company and group's strategy. Manage assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation. This includes developing SOW, business proposals, functional requirements, project plan w/milestones, financials, and implementation plan. Provide management and guidance toward successful collaboration with multi-functional groups and direct project team responsible for implementation of Jabil's strategies.

- Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework

- Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.

Operations Manager

Direct and manage all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, quality, materials and other production related activities.
